Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about Secure360? We've got you covered. Find answers to our most common questions below or speak with us on Live Chat

Why do I need Secure360?

Secure360 adds a proactive approach to website security. The Web Application Firewall (WAF) detects and blocks the latest threats and attacks. Routine scans of your website files ensure any malware is cleaned or quarantined before they can execute. Secure360 protects all websites including WordPress and also scans email automatically.

Does this mean my site can't be hacked?

Secure360 makes it considerably harder to be hacked, but it's not impossible. It's still important to keep backups of your site content, and to maintain your site updates. Secure360 will protect you from quite a lot though. It will be watching for malicious traffic aimed at your site, and it will also be watching all uploads to the server to make sure malware isn't being injected into the site content.

Can I subscribe to Secure360 if I have a VPS or dedicated server?

Yes, however the pricing for VPS and dedicated server users differs. Contact Support for more details.

What happens if the scanners find something?

If the scanner has determined that an entire file is malware, it's emptied out and left blank. If it determines that most of the file is normal content, but has been modified maliciously, the system will do its best to remove the malicious content from the file making it safe again. In either case, there will be scanner reports available to you to see what actions have been taken.

Do I have to enable Secure360 or do anything to activate it?

Other than keeping your website scripts updated and your passwords secure, no. The entire Secure360 suite is automated. Once purchased, it will be active immediately and fully managed by us.

Do you offer a Money Back Guarantee?

No, the Secure360 service is a non-refundable addon due to licensing costs and other related fees.

I have SSL, do I need Secure360 too?

Yes, absolutely! An SSL certificate only encrypts data transmitted from the end-user to our servers. This is unrelated to the security of your website files, email and database. SSL alone doesn't shield your website from various other security threats or vulnerabilities such as code injections, malware, SQL injections or brute force attacks. To ensure comprehensive protection, it's best to have an SSL certificate and Secure360.
